YouTube has become the video sharing web site by antonomasia. Thus, many tools designed to download video from the Internet include YouTube in their names. This application interface looks finely crafted, although it is too dark for me. In my opinion, it would be better if it just had more skins. This utility will give you the capability to perform easy video searches without the need to use a web browser. Once you have found the desired video, you will be able to preview and download it. In this respect, this tool also supports batch downloading. It also has a simple video editor that will let you crop, trim and convert the downloaded videos. Conversion supports a lot of target formats, such as AVI, MPEG4, DivX, XviD, MPEG, WMV, RM, MOV, 3GP, 3G2, SWF, M4A, MP3, MP4, WAV, OGG, AAC and AC3. In addition, if you have problems remembering these extensions and what they are for, you will also be able to use the name of the intended device, as iPod Video, iPhone format, Sony PSP and Zune Video.
In general, YouTube Downloader Suite is a fine application offering much more than downloading YouTube clips. The price is reasonable and you may try it if you wish. However, you will have to try it quickly because the evaluation period is way too short. Then, if you think the price is too high, you could also try some similar (perhaps less fancy) free applications.
